Santosh has over 25 years of experience in the financial services sector – 20 of which as an equity analyst. Santosh started his equity research career at Prudential Securities and later worked at various investment banks including Vice President/Senior Equity Analyst at Broadpoint Capital, Research Analyst at Evercore Partners’ Institutional Equities Group, and Senior Research Analyst/Managing Director at Greencrest Capital Management. He is currently the Head of Research/Partner at Manhattan Venture Partners. Before moving to equity research, Mr. Rao worked at PaineWebber (UBS) and Prudential Securities as a Senior Financial Analyst/Vice President. Santosh has a double undergraduate degree including Bachelor of Commerce in Advanced Accounting & Auditing from Osmania University, India, and Bachelor of Arts in Economics & Accounting from Rutgers University. Additionally, he has an MBA in Finance from Rutgers Graduate Business School. Santosh’s work is cited frequently in financial journals and he appears frequently on business networks including CNBC, Bloomberg, CNN, and NPR among others.
