Founded in 2011, Saildrone offers eco-friendly ASVs that run on solar and wind energy. Its ASVs sailed over 1.1M nautical miles and spent over 36k days at sea collecting vast amounts of data. Saildrone has proven to be cost-efficient, scalable, and flexible with each ASV capable of staying at sea for up to 1 year. Adopted by Florida Department of Environmental Protection to map Florida’s coastal waters in the Gulf of Mexico.
