Matt specializes in late-stage venture-backed secondary transactions, helping investors, funds, and founders navigate complex liquidity solutions in the private markets.
He began his career at UBS, working with ultra-high-net-worth clients on equity stock option strategies and liquidity planning. This early experience in bespoke financial solutions set the stage for his work in venture secondaries, where discretion, creativity, and trusted relationships are key.
Matt went on to serve as Senior Director at Forge Global, working closely with venture funds, family offices, and asset managers to originate and execute off-market transactions in leading private companies. Known for his relationship-driven approach, he connects buyers and sellers in situations that demand both sharp market judgment and hands-on execution. He now serves as a Principal, continuing to focus on expanding relationships and executing strategic secondary opportunities.
A graduate of Elon University, Matt holds Series 7 and 66 licenses. Outside of work, he is an avid triathlete, skier, and fly fisherman, and enjoys anything outdoors. A lifelong cellist, he has played since childhood, balancing his professional career with a passion for music.
